how ‘bee kind’ is the bee sanctuary?

The bee sanctuary scored 1,644 on the BCT bee kind test.

According to the bumblebee conservation trust, an excellent community garden would score 4,500.  let’s bump up this score!

Plants on the bee sanctuary wish list…

delphinium,

dog rose,

hollyhock,

hellebores,

globe thistle,

meadow cranesbill,

honeysuckle,

hyssop,

marjoram,

meadow clary,

mallow,

ox-eye daisy,

damask and dog rose,

raspberry,

russian sage,

sunflowers,

verbena,

nettle,

wisteria,

flowering currants.

Any pollinator friendly donations to the bee sanctuary would be gratefully received, whether on the wish list or not! x
