Pollinate / To transfer pollen from an anther to the stigma of (a flower).

Pollinator / An (insect) that carries pollen from one flower to another

In Britain ‘pollinators’ include small flying insects such as hoverflies, lacewings, bees, beetles, butterflies and moths.

So when we think about supporting pollinator friendly spaces, we need to think about more than are bumbling bee friends.
